Historic Bowl Chandelier-4625-PAC Add to wishlist

CSA listing included load testing on site, as the new fixture weighed significantly more than the original or recent fixtures installed in the space.; This bowl chandelier was replicated from historic photographs for the U. S. Capitol Building Strom Thurmond Room S-238. It is constructed of solid brass using 15 unique custom castings, and polished to a high gloss. Twelve arms encircle the central bowl, fitted with downward-facing, open bottom, custom hand-blown milk glass shades.  An additional glass shade is centered at the bottom of the bowl. These glass shades house medium base dimmable LED A lamps. A powerful uplighting feature is built into the bowl, designed for maximum light output: (8) 57W 4-pin triple tube dimmable compact fluorescent lamps. The combined total 41,000 lumen package significantly improved ambient light levels in the space without the addition of recessed utility lighting, which would have marred the historic ceiling and walls. The fixture was finished in a custom Aged Polished Brass finish.
