Lantern Pendant-3244-PEC

Replicated for the U.S. Department of Justice from original Art Deco light fixtures that were part of the building’s originals furnishings when it was built in the 1930’s. Aluminum construction had been chosen for all of the original lighting to coordinate with the wide use of aluminum for the architectural metal elements throughout the building. The fixture, as with the entire building’s interior design, was innovative in its day, serving as a bridge between traditional and modern design.
